Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in related field or four years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in configuration/records management, preferably in hardware-focused environments.
• Secret security clearance.
• Strong knowledge of CM and RM principles and practices, especially for hardware systems.
• Proficiency with CM tools and RM systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement configuration and records management policies, procedures, and standards.
• Establish and maintain a CMDB and records system to track CIs and records through their lifecycle.
• Document CIs (baselines, versions, relationships) and classify records.
• Coordinate change management to control CI modifications.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with CM/RM practices.
• Facilitate record disposition per guidelines and legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices for CM/RM.
• Prepare and submit reports to management in a timely manner.
• Manage CM and RM of hardware systems across their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to integrate hardware into CM process.
• Ensure hardware assets are inventoried, classified, and dispositioned per policy.
