MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

• Own end‑to‑end operational health of the platform, ensuring systems stay secure, available, and performing to standard across production and non‑production environments.
• Lead a full‑spectrum O&M practice spanning monitoring, availability and resiliency, configuration management, system administration, incident response, deployment support, and auditing, rather than managing these as isolated functions.
• Build and maintain resilient, highly available infrastructure with proactive failure detection, automated recovery, and well‑tested contingency plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in system performance and reliability, using metrics and reporting to catch issues early and demonstrate SLA compliance.
• Provide tiered technical support (from routine user issues through complex, code‑level fixes) with the responsiveness needed to keep the mission running.
• Guide smooth transitions, whether onboarding new releases, migrating data, or decommissioning legacy systems, with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• Champion strong configuration management and audit discipline as the backbone of a secure, well‑governed environment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• US citizenship required
• Critical Core Competencies:
  • Cloud Services – Preferred certification in cloud technologies utilized by the Customer, such as AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google
  • Event Bus Programming - Has experience with publish/subscribe technologies and messaging products such as Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, and/or Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS).
