Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Senior Configuration Manager to establish disciplined practices for mission-critical software baselines in a regulated enterprise environment. Qualifications

• Experience working with engineering, operations, and program stakeholders in a regulated environment.
• Active Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.

• Integrate configuration management processes with CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows to improve automated traceability.
• Train stakeholders on configuration management tools, procedures, and audit readiness expectations.

The Configuration Manager - Senior will establish and maintain disciplined configuration management practices for mission-critical software baselines in a regulated enterprise environment. This role ensures traceability, consistency, and audit readiness across the software lifecycle while partnering with engineering and operations teams to control change and protect baseline integrity.

This position is responsible for configuration identification, change control, status accounting, audits, and configuration documentation. The role also supports leadership reporting, tool administration, and process improvement to strengthen governance across the enterprise software environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures aligned to enterprise and federal standards.
• Administer the configuration management database and maintain accurate configuration item relationships and lifecycle records.
• Manage software baselines, version control practices, and branching standards to preserve integrity and traceability.
