Job summary

Dynamo Technologies LLC seeks a Configuration Manager Journeyman to provide CM and DM support for Air Force weapon systems and programs. The role entails managing technical baselines, validating CM/DM deliverables, and ensuring compliance with DoD and AF CM policies.

Onsite work at Warner Robins AFB, GA is required. Responsibilities include planning, identifying, and tracking CM data; maintaining CMP/IMP/DSP; supporting OSS&E processes; and coordinating CCB activities while producing release

Qualifications

• Experience providing CM/DM for Air Force LCM programs or weapon system products.
• Ability to identify CM/DM requirements and deliverables and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Experience validating and verifying CM/DM product deliveries in DoD environments.
• Experience ensuring program compliance with EIA-649-1 CM and related DoD standards.
• Knowledge of AF Data Rights, OSS&E, and related CM policies and guidance.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide CM support for assigned programs, projects, and weapon systems.
• Manage functional, allocated, and product baselines and associated CM/DM data.
• Support Data Management, OSS&E processes, and deficiency reporting.
• Document CM activities and provide approved configuration information for system characteristics.
• Conduct configuration planning, identification, status accounting, audits, and change control.
• Develop and maintain CMP, IMP, DSP, IP and data rights strategies, and CCB policies.
• Identify CM/DM requirements from SOWs and program documents.
• Plan and conduct configuration verifications and audits, including test plans and DO data.
• Manage the CCB process, directives, minutes, and related materials.
• Support the CCB Chair and ensure CM requirements are executed.
• Record performance and acceptance requirements and produce software release notes.
• Recommend revisions to CM procedures to meet new program needs.
• Collaborate with Division CM to standardize processes and tools.
• Track and manage Deficiency Reports (DRs) and MIPRB activities.
• Ensure compliance with AFLCMC CM standards and related DoD guidance.

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a Configuration Manager Journeyman to provide Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) support for assigned programs, projects, and weapon systems. The successful candidate will support Air Force Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities for weapon systems and weapon system products by identifying CM/DM requirements and deliverables, managing technical baselines and configuration information, and validating and verifying CM/DM product deliveries to ensure adherence to identified requirements. This position requires experience with Configuration and Data Management processes, Air Force weapon system acquisition and sustainment activities, configuration control, technical data, engineering data, and associated DoD and Air Force CM policies, standards, and guidance.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Provide CM support for assigned programs, projects, and weapon systems.
• Take action to ensure weapon systems and products meet requirements of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guides related to Configuration and Data Management (CDM).
• Manage data related to functional, allocated, and product technical baselines for assigned products and programs.
• Support Data Management, engineering Data Management, deficiency reporting, and other OSS&E processes.
• Document and record products of systems engineering activities and provide approved configuration information to detail characteristics of systems or products.
• Perform Configuration Planning, Identification, Status Accounting, Verification and Audits, and Change Control activities.
• Create, update, review, and recommend changes to the Configuration Management Plan (CMP), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), organizational Data Strategy Plan (DSP), Intellectual Property and Data Rights strategies, and organizational Configuration Control Board (CCB) policies or plans.
• Identify CM and DM requirements for programs and policy documents, including Statements of Work, acquisition strategy plans, acquisition management plans, program documentation, and technical process guides.
• Plan, conduct, and manage activities and data related to configuration verifications and audits, including system verification reviews, functional configuration audits, physical configuration audits, test plans, test procedures, specifications, engineering data, software version description documents, software media, and other technical data.
• Manage the Configuration Control Board process for assigned programs and prepare and maintain CCB Directives, agendas, minutes, member lists, CCB Charters, presentation materials, and other information for the CCB Chair.
• Directly support the CCB Chair in activities supporting the CCB and CM processes.
• Ensure appropriate CM requirements are executed for assigned programs and tasks.
• Record performance, qualification, fabrication, and acceptance requirements for assigned systems, including producing software release notes.
• Recommend revisions to and draft new CM procedures to meet new or unique program requirements.
• Work with the Division CM to standardize organizational processes and tools.
• Manage and track Deficiency Reports (DRs) and support activities related to the Material Improvement Project Review Board (MIPRB).
• Ensure compliance with TO 00-35D-54 and provide input to the DR MIPRB Charter and recommendations for changes to ensure compliance with CM policy and best practices.
• Provide, track, and manage data necessary to support CM, DM, Quality Assurance (QA), requirements analysis, risk management, and OSS&E activities.
• Ensure compliance with the CMP and AF Systems Engineering Assessment Model (SEAM) best practices.

Education and Experience:

  • National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) CDM Certification; or

  • Completion of DAU Certification CLCL 010 Technical Data Management Credential.
• Bachelor's or master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD.
• OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD.
