Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead and improve configuration management across simulation hardware, modeling components, and networked training systems. You will own the CM plan, manage baselines, run the CM board, and ensure status accounting and audits are maintained across the full lifecycle.

You will collaborate with engineers and leadership to embed CM discipline, track licensing and versions, and communicate changes to the requirements review board.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing CM plans.
• Experience managing change control, including ECPs, RFDs, RFWs, and baseline updates.
• Experience with CM tools such as Jira or Snipe-IT.
• Experience monitoring software licensing, entitlement, and version control across enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of enterprise CM, hardware baselining, technical documentation, and lifecycle replacement processes.
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop technical diagrams, system architecture drawings, and configuration documentation.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve configuration management across an integrated set of simulation hardware, modeling components, and networked training systems.
• Own the CM plan, manage hardware and system baselines, run the CM board, and maintain configuration status accounting.
• Lead configuration audits and enforce CM processes across the full product lifecycle.
• Track software licensing and versions to ensure entitlements remain compliant and releases stay controlled.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers and program leadership to build configuration discipline into sustainment and upgrades.
• Represent program configuration changes to the requirements review board and explain impact on cost, schedule, and capability.
