A prominent engineering and IT services provider is seeking a Configuration Manager Analyst II in Tidewater, VA. The ideal candidate will manage configuration management processes for IT systems and ensure compliance with industry standards. Required qualifications include 3–5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with configuration management tools. The position offers a competitive salary range of $65k-$115k and excellent benefits including health care, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in configuration management, IT, or related field.
• Experience with configuration management principles, tools, or documentation processes.
• Familiarity with CM tools (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, CMDBs, or version control systems).
• Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs.
• Familiarity with EIA-649, ITIL, or similar configuration management frameworks.
• Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, or system baselines.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration management (CM) processes for IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity assets.
• Maintain and control system baselines and configuration items (CIs).
• Support and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and formal change management processes.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and program configuration management standards (e.g., EIA-649).
• Track, document, and audit system changes, versions, and releases.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams to validate configurations.
• Support audits, inspections, and reporting activities.
