What You'll Do

Performs the records management and document control function for projects executed by the Project Engineering Organization. Plans, organizes, and implements systems for efficient project document processing, including design and supplier documentation, communications control, and the project filing system. Monitors progress and reports to management on a routine basis.

Interprets administrative policies and procedures and develops and/or implements procedures as appropriate for project engineering. Reviews technical documentation for compliance with administrative and project specific requirements. Compiles information, analyzes, and prepares reports and departmental metrics as required. Assists the Project Engineer in the execution of classification and document control requirements. Coordinates all project close‑out activities. Communicates with project team members and supplier contacts to resolve daily administrative problems associated with project engineering function.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline from an accredited program
• Eight of more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience requirements for this posting.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years job related experience preferred.
• The position requires the ability to provide frequent communication and interactions with variety of customers
• Must present information clearly and effectively through oral and written word.
• Typical experience could range from two to fifteen plus years.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.

This position may require entry into the Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (10 C.F.R. Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence‑scope polygraph examination.
