Responsibilities

• Assist in development and management of all CDRL requirements.
• Provide research, analyses, studies, and briefing development for AFLCMC activities.
• Support CM/DM tasks for acquisition and management operations within the F-15 Division.
• Participate in government reviews and cross-functional teams for CM/DM issues.
• Review program specs for hardware and software for standardization and compliance.
• Support configuration control including tracking of ACSNs, ECPs, CCPs, and revisions.
• Assist in planning and conducting CCBs and BRBs; maintain change files.
• Assist in planning FCAs, PCAs, audits, and record action items.
• Maintain configuration status accounting databases and records.
• Assist users with DIDs and DM forms, updating related files.
• Draft data calls and manage government review/release processes.
• Understand DoD data rights clauses and monitor delivery and reporting.
• Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and others to support the program.

Required Qualifications / Skills

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Knowledge of Government policy, directives, standards, handbooks, and pamphlets, etc., as well as DoD-adopted industry standards relating to Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) and SE processes.
• Knowledgeable of CM/DM input requirements for program plans and SOWs, PWSs, CDRLs, defense acquisition contract structure for RFP release and evaluation of proposals, military standards, TOs and change letters.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and management of all CDRL requirements.
• Providing research, analyses, studies, documentation, and briefing development/delivery as required supporting AFLCMC activities.
• Supports CM/DM tasks necessary to support acquisition and management operations functions within the F-15 Division. Provides understanding of commercial CM/DM standards and practices to support AFLCMC or higher level taskings.
• Participate in Government reviews/meetings/working groups as applicable and in Government and industry teams for the resolution of complex CM/DM issues.
• Reviews program specifications to include development specifications and product specifications for both hardware and software, for proper format, content and compliance with program requirements and appropriate standards; and process requests for nomenclature and requests for computer program identification numbers and track the requests through appropriate Government agencies for response back to customer.
• Supports the configuration control function, to include receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking and final disposition of ACSNs, ECPs, CCPs, notice of revisions, requests for deviation/waiver, DRs, airworthiness reportability determination, MFR/MTC, directive notes, service introductions; review change proposals for thoroughness, CM/DM impacts and compliance with Government requirements.
• Make appropriate recommendations for Government review and disposition and assist in the preparation and conduct of CCBs and Business Review Boards (BRB); assist in maintaining change proposal files and assist in providing historical information.
• Assists in the planning and conducting of FCAs, PCAs, and compliance audits, to include audit planning, auditing hardware and software Configuration Items and disposition and tracking of action items and minutes; support other program and engineering reviews and TIMs, at Government and weapon system contractor facilities. Confirms the adequacy of data used to support entrance/exit criteria for these audits.
• Maintains configuration status accounting databases and records to reflect the configuration status of baseline documentation and fielded systems and equipment.
• Assists data users and requesters with the selection and tailoring of Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), preparation of one-time and standard DIDs, and filling out DM forms; and will update and maintain associated files.
• Provides support and expertise in organizing and issuing data calls in support of weapon systems and subsystems; including drafting of data call letters for Government review and release.
• Possess understanding of DODI 5230.24, Distribution Statements on Technical Documents and FAR/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) data rights clauses; evaluates change proposals for impacts to baseline configuration data; monitors the delivery and approval on contract technical data to include report generation and follow up actions; and records maintenance in the CDRL tracking database.
• Monitor the closure of DRs; monitor investigations; process and dispose of exhibits; respond to inquiries from external parties including, but not limited to, field units and contractors, and conduct briefings and generate reports for management on DR status and trends.
• Work with Government personnel, outside agencies, Contractor personnel, and others to support the program. Contractor personnel assist in preparation of technical material for internal and external briefings, presentations, documents and reports.
