Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC in Albany, NY is seeking a Configuration Analyst Principal to drive engineering tool configuration, build and release management, and cross‑functional collaboration on government, defense, and intelligence projects.

You will lead tool customization, develop requirements and deploy tooling, mentor users, and advance strategic technology initiatives for the NYSOH Health Marketplace System.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of business experience including evaluation of procedures and requirements
• Experience in analyzing, implementing, and monitoring outcomes
• Ability to work with cross-functional technical teams in software development
• Experience across all phases of the software development life cycle
• Ability to identify weaknesses in workflows and implement improvements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Professional interaction with diverse teams and support personnel

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering, software development, and configuration management tasks
• Manage release processes including status accounting of changes
• Customize and administer engineering tools
• Develop requirements, design, code, test, and deploy tooling
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
• Create and maintain tool process documentation
• Provide production support and mentoring for tool users
• Support strategic tech initiatives to advance NYSOH system infrastructure and SDLC improvements
