Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Configuration Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to manage data and change control for complex programs onsite. You will identify data IDs, track changes, and produce CDM reports while interfacing with program management and customers.

The role requires a TS clearance (SCI eligibility preferred) and experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM tools. Onsite work with potential travel and a strong focus on documentation and audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or higher for Level 2.
  • Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility at time of application.
  • Experience with PLM software (Teamcenter preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and control program hardware/software data identification numbers.
  • Manage change packages through lifecycle and document implementation.
  • Develop and maintain CDM reports for program support.
  • Support internal program CDM audits and audits of SOW requirements.

Examples: Configured Item Identification List, Engineering Change Request status, CDM performance metricsVerification & Audits-Support internal program CDM audits against program SOW & Functional Command Media mandates-Provide aid to Functional Configuration Audits & perform Physical Configuration Audit-Document Management for deliverable CDRLs and non-CDRL documentsBasic Qualifications for Configuration Analyst - Level 2:-Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience OR-Master’s degree with 1 year of experience.-Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649C &/or EIA-649-1-Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance AND the ability and willingness to obtain SCI clearance at time of application.-Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface well with program management/customers.-Experience with product lifecycle management software, Teamcenter highly preferredBasic Qualifications for Configuration Analyst - Level 3:-9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree OR-Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR-Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR-PhD with 1+ year(s) of relevant experience-Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1-Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance AND the ability and willingness to obtain SCI clearance at time of application.-Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface well with program management/customers.-Experience with product lifecycle management software, Teamcenter highly preferredPreferred Qualifications:-Large-scale cross functional project team experience-Experience using TeamCenter, CPLM PLM tool, and Enovia-Active SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years, at time of application, and prior to start date OR-Active DOD Secret security clearance or above with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years, at time of application, and prior to start date as well as the ability to obtain and maintain active SCI access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.
