Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Configuration Analyst – Level 2 to join our team. The Data Manager will plan and coordinate timely preparation of project documentation (engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, contract modifications, analyses, manuals, procedures, reports) to ensure contract requirements are met and customer satisfaction is maintained.

The role involves supporting contract review, CDM principles, and documentation control using PLM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Secret security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Experience with Tech Writing and Tools, Procedural Writing/Editing
• Experience with Change/File Management (PLM) Tools
• Experience with Microsoft Office M365

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and recording/reporting on status
• Accountability and traceability of formal data transmittals and follow-up
• Customer dispositions (approval/disapproval)
• Quality control and technical editing per company formats/contractual requirements
• Configuration identification and control
• Storage/retrieval systems
• Recognition and handling of proprietary and data rights
• Incorporation of contractually prescribed markings for managing, sharing, safeguarding, and disseminating technical documents
• Submittals in accordance with contractually required methods/tools
• Demonstrates ability to perform complex professional tasks under minimal supervision
• Other duties as assigned
