Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a Configuration Analyst II to execute day-to-day CM workflows, maintain baselines, and ensure audit-ready documentation across enterprise systems. You will triage change requests, perform impact analysis, and coordinate review boards in collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations.

The role requires hands-on CM experience, strong communication, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced government contracting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2 years of CM or equivalent experience.
• Experience in CM workflows, ECR/ECO management, BOM audits, and FDA/ITIL-aligned processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD structures, or software release notes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily intake, triage, and tracking of ECRs/ECOs in PLM/PDM/ITIL systems.
• Audit BOMs, TDPs, and software build packages for accuracy and metadata completeness.
• Prepare agendas and record minutes for CCBs and MRBs; track action items and decisions.
• Maintain configuration status accounting logs including item numbers and revisions.
• Support FCA and PCA preparation and track corrective actions.
• Package and track CDRLs/SDRLs for external stakeholders and customers.
• Record and communicate configuration item status to management.
• Assist developers with configuration items and perform periodic inventory reviews.
