As a Configuration Analyst, you will coordinate program engineering change control operations, analyze processes, and maintain and follow up on engineering change documents with program managers, engineering groups, and customer personnel.
Responsibilities
- Records, classifies and analyzes engineering or software change requests for completeness and accuracy; requests additional information if required and obtains approvals.
- Responds to inquiries from engineering personnel regarding preparation of engineering and software change requests, proposal forms, and related documents.
- Maintains graphs and/or summaries showing status and extent of completeness of engineering and software changes; establishes a follow-up system to ensure completion and release dates are in accordance with schedule.
- Analyzes final engineering or software change packages for compatibility with engineering requests.
- Reviews change drawings or software documentation to determine compliance with company practices and Configuration Management Plan.
- Ensures all unique customer documentation requirements are well documented in the online CM-Notebook.
- Participates in formal reviews, such as Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and function and physical configuration audits.
- Maintains quality of work to ensure Customer Satisfaction.

Education
- 4-year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.
Location and Schedule
Geographic Location: Rochester, MN. Shift 1 (Mon-Fri 0800-1700).
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation Range: $50,471.00 to $63,089.00 USD. Benchmark provides a comprehensive benefits package, including a Bonus Plan, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, all based on scheduled hours.
