Job summary

Disney Experiences in Florida seeks a Sourcing Manager for Merchandise Sourcing and Product Development to drive confectionery strategy across domestic parks and resorts. The role requires deep confectionery expertise, packaging and labeling knowledge, and hands-on experience in sourcing, supplier negotiations, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Requires 7–10+ years in product development, merchandising or sourcing with candy/confectionery experience.
  • Experience managing confectionery products from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong knowledge of ingredients, packaging, labeling and food safety requirements.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short- and long-range supplier strategies for confectionery categories.
  • Collaborate with Product Design, Merchandising and Trade Compliance to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Lead cost analysis, supplier negotiations and vendor selection for new products.
  • Oversee packaging, labeling, cost rollups, and vendor placement to meet launch dates.
  • Manage development samples, milestones and sampling approvals with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive supplier diversification and sustainability initiatives and monitor performance.
