Job Purpose

Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) is searching for Concurrent Instructors who are creative, open to change, have a passion for learning and are willing to promote the mission of KCKCC. Positions are for areas within the academic divisions: Humanities and Communications, Social and Behavioral Sciences and Public Service, Math, Science and Computer Technology, Health Professions, Career and Technical Education.

Position Description

• Instruct high school concurrent students according to KCKCC syllabus.
• Use Blackboard for weekly grades.
• Use WebAdvisor for roster reconciliation and grade reporting.
• Regular correspondence and communication with High School Partnership Program personnel.

Position Qualifications

• Master’s degree within the discipline or a master’s degree in any field with 18 graduate credits in the specific discipline is required. Qualifications to teach a career and technical education course vary by discipline.
• High School Principal approval.
• The candidate must meet the same minimum qualifications as all instructors teaching in the respective discipline for KCKCC courses.
