PPT Inc. is seeking a motivated Concrete Turnkey Laborer to join our construction team in the Shreveport area. You will assist with formwork, rebar placement, pouring, finishing, and restoration to help deliver high-quality concrete structures.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating mixers and tools, and maintaining a safe, organized job site. This role offers hands-on growth in a fast-paced, on-site environment with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Competenze

• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment.
• Comfort with lifting and performing physically demanding tasks.

Duties

• Assist in constructing formwork and setting up concrete molds according to detailed blueprints and specifications.
• Install rebar reinforcement, ensuring proper placement and secure fastening as per safety standards.
• Operate concrete mixers, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to facilitate efficient concrete pouring and finishing.
• Perform concrete cutting, pouring, finishing, and surface smoothing to achieve desired textures and quality standards.
• Follow construction plans meticulously, interpreting technical drawings and blueprint specifications for accurate execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite by handling materials, tools, and debris responsibly while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment confidently.
• Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with precision interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, concrete cutting, pouring, finishing, and surface treatments like plastering or caulking.
• Understanding of safety regulations within construction workplaces.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding project requirements.
• Skilled in using various hand tools and power tools essential for formwork construction, masonry, framing (metal stud framing), tile laying, or flooring installation.
• Experience working on diverse construction projects including renovation or restoration efforts with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence.
