Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC), part of the ARCO Family, seeks a Concrete Project Manager Intern to join our Richmond Heights team this summer. You'll gain hands-on experience on diverse projects, working with expert field personnel in commercial, industrial, and multi‑family settings.

As an intern you will assist Superintendents with scheduling, coordinating subs, and driving projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree programs.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on job sites with scheduling and coordination.
• Help ensure smooth project execution from start to finish.
• Contribute to various stages of the project life cycle.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

At MCC, an Intern works during the summer and has the opportunity to assist Superintendents with the following:

• Work on Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including, commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi‑family, entertainment and more

• Learn various skills from the Superintendent on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish and working with the Superintendent on the jobsite

• You will make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs

• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0

• Co‑op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required

• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic

• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds
