Zero Impact Builders in California is seeking a hardworking Concrete Professional to join our construction crew. You will pour, spread, and smooth concrete, design and set up forms, and ensure quality finishes according to specifications.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, proven concrete experience, and ability to work long hours, travel to sites, and handle tools and safety protocols. We offer health and dental benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven construction experience as a concrete laborer or finisher.
• Knowledge of safety and health protocols governing the industry.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools (shovels, rakes, mixer, forklifts, power washer).
• Excellent physical dexterity and manual skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and travel to sites.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation within 70 miles of the area.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete.
• Designing and setting up forms.
• Molding expansion joints and edges as per instructions.
• Adding stones, colors, and other decorative items for finishing touch.
• Using waterproofing solutions and sealants to protect concrete.
• Estimating materials and project completion timelines.
• Reviewing and repairing/restoring concrete structures.
• Clearing worksite of stones, debris, and equipment before/after work.
• Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
• Placing orders and arranging transportation of materials.
• Other duties as assigned, willing to pitch in on other trades.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a hardworking and skilled Concrete Professional to join our construction team. You should be able to pour, spread, and smooth concrete mixtures to match the given specifications. Besides, you should also be able to plan and build forms. You should be able to give the concrete structures a finishing touch by using various sealants and waterproofing solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mixing, pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete
• Designing and setting up forms
• Molding expansion joints and edges as per the instructions
