Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a Concrete Plant Laborer to support daily operations at our concrete production facility.

You will perform general housekeeping, assist with loading, maintain equipment, monitor materials, and help plant operators with batching and production. The role requires outdoor work, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, quarry, aggregate, or concrete plant preferred.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping and cleanup throughout the plant.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials used in concrete production.
• Clean and maintain mixers, conveyors, aggregate bins, silos, and other plant equipment.
• Monitor material levels and assist with inventory management.
• Help perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and facilities.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as needed.
• Assist plant operators with batching and concrete production activities.
• Direct truck traffic and assist drivers entering and leaving the plant safely.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Concrete Plant Laborer supports the daily operations of a concrete production facility by performing general labor duties, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting plant operators with the production and delivery of quality concrete materials. This position is responsible for ensuring the plant operates efficiently while adhering to company safety standards and procedures.

• Perform general housekeeping and cleanup throughout the plant, including sweeping, shoveling, and removing debris.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials used in concrete production.
• Clean and maintain mixers, conveyors, aggregate bins, silos, and other plant equipment.
• Monitor material levels and assist with inventory management.
• Help perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and facilities.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as needed.
• Assist plant operators with batching and concrete production activities.
• Direct truck traffic and assist drivers entering and leaving the plant safely.
