Job summary

United Companies, a CRH Company, is hiring a Driver/Delivery-CDL in Gunnison, CO to operate a heavy diesel mixer truck (GVW > 26,000) delivering concrete to construction sites. You will manage mixing, adjust slump, and feed the mixer as required, ensuring product stays liquid until delivery.

The role requires a valid CDL A or B, DOT medical card, and a minimum of two years driving experience in the building materials industry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Experience in building materials/construction preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.
• Must have valid CDL A or B and Medical Certificate per DOT.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver truck into loading and unloading positions at job sites.
• Operate mixer to produce concrete and adjust slump as requested.
• Assemble chutes and release concrete per customer request.
• Clean truck after loading and delivery to prevent concrete hardening.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and handle paperwork.
