Job summary

Lauren Concrete in Round Rock, TX is hiring a full-time Driver to deliver quality concrete safely and efficiently while complying with all laws. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, confirm job site addresses, load and unload product, and operate an Electronic Logging Device.

Must be 21+, hold a valid Texas CDL (Class B), and maintain a clean DMV record. This role requires physical mobility, the ability to lift 45–70 lbs, and a professional attitude when representing the company

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License (Class B or higher) and be 21+.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Experience with vehicle inspections and safe loading/unloading.
• Ability to operate Electronic Logging Device (ELD).

Responsibilities

• Display a positive attitude, a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with all customers, both internally and externally.
• Perform pre-trip inspections: clean windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras each time before leaving the plant or job site, check for fluid leaks, and consult Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebook.
• Confirm job site address prior to departure.
• Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior.
• Responsible for the process of loading, handling, delivering and unloading of the product, including the slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes, etc.
• Perform post-trip inspection, notifying plant manager of maintenance needs.
• Understand and/or knowledge with operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
