Job summary

Auburn Concrete, the leading Ready-mix company in the state, is hiring a full-time Concrete Mixer Driver for our Westbrook location. You must hold a Maine CDL Class B or equivalent and present a satisfactory driving record. Training and a path to advancement are available.

The role requires safe operation of the mixer truck, with long hours and Saturday availability during peak season. Competitive pay plus comprehensive benefits and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory driving record and ability to pass pre-employment drug screens.
• Minimum age 18 and 2 years driving experience or CDL program certificate.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and transport ready-mix concrete from batch plant to customer sites.
• Inspect, service and clean the mixer truck and perform required paperwork.
• Adhere to schedules; long hours and Saturday work during peak season (May–October).

About this position

Come work for the largest Ready-mix company in the state, a proven leader in Ready Mix Concrete. Auburn Concrete is looking for a full-time Concrete Mixer Driver in our Westbrook location. Candidates who have a current Maine CDL Class B driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record will be considered for the position.

• 2 weeks of PTO with the potential to earn an additional 8 hours per quarter, equaling almost 3 weeks per year

As a Concrete Mixer Driver, your primary responsibility is the safe operation of your assigned vehicle in the transportation of ready-mix concrete from batch plant to customer job sites. You will also be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and cleaning the truck and the timely and accurate completion of necessary paperwork and inspections. This position requires long hours and Saturday availability during the busy season (May to October).

Who we are looking for:

• Satisfactory driving and criminal record and be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screens
• Minimum age of 18 years old and minimum 2 years driving experience or certificate from certified CDL program
• Knowledge of surrounding roadways or ability to read driving maps and follow driving directions.
