Job summary

Baker Construction, the nation’s top specialty concrete contractor, is seeking a Skilled Laborer to assist with logistics, equipment and material handling, and installation under the direction of jobsite supervisors. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and performs tasks such as formwork stripping, vibrating concrete, and handling materials on site.

OSHA 10 is a plus; own transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum 1 year related experience preferred.
• Know how to strip formwork, vibrate concrete, or perform concrete bucket operations.
• Material handling and on-site cleaning of material and areas.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Own transportation preferable.

Responsibilities

• Performs general labor duties as directed by supervision.
• Performs skilled labor duties related to concrete work.
• Maintains a safe work environment on site.
• Participates in on-site training and certifications.
