Job summary

Strobel Energy Group is seeking a Concrete Laborer to perform physical tasks on construction sites in variable weather conditions. You will ensure concrete is poured correctly through precise placement on-site with various forms and support structures.

Responsibilities include setting and dismantling forms, grading, erecting scaffolding, mixing concrete, and installing rebar and wire mesh. A high school diploma or GED and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of concrete or skilled labor experience preferred.
• Experience with concrete form setting or construction is required.
• Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials.
• Proficiency with industry hand and power tools, including saws.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete and dismantle forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, bolts or form hardware.
• Dig ditches and level earth to grade specifications, using pick, shovels and rakes.
• Grade dirt and concrete efficiently and accurately.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures.
• Mix concrete and mortar.
• Assist to align, straighten, plumb and square forms for installation.
• Construct forms, then assist in raising them to the required elevation.
• Install and tie rebar and wire mesh.
