Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a construction laborer in Kalispell, MT to perform a variety of hand-on tasks under the Foreman. Responsibilities include placing and raking materials, operating small equipment, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and flexibility for day and some weekend shifts. A valid driver’s license is required; CDL is a plus, and drug/background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods
• Adhere to all safety procedures
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights and some weekends
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks for long periods in all weather conditions
• Place, shovel and rake concrete and gravel materials with hand tools
• Lift and carry tools and forming materials
• Pound concrete pins and secure forms
• Operate small engine equipment such as plate tampers and jumping jacks
• Assist Foreman with other duties as needed

Job description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

• Run small engine equipment such as plate whackers and jumping jacks
• Other duties assigned as needed by Foreman

Minimum Qualifications;

• Valid driver’s license but a CDL is a preferred
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time
• Assure all safety procedures are followed
• Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights, some weekends
• Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background check
