Job summary

Southland Holdings seeks motivated Concrete Laborers for a project in El Paso, TX. Role involves performing construction tasks such as laying utilities and waterlines while adhering to safety and attendance standards.

Candidates should have construction experience, be able to work in extreme weather, and pass post-offer drug screening and E-Verify. Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Construction experience including sanitary sewer, utilities, pipeline, RCP storm drain and waterline.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete labor on construction sites in El Paso, TX.
• Navigate rugged terrain and operate in all weather conditions.
• Maintain attendance, work schedule, and willingness to overtime as required.

Requirements

• Construction experience *Experience laying sanitary sewer, utilities, pipeline, RCP storm drain and waterline.
• Must be physically capable of navigating rugged terrain for purpose of performing duties outlined above.
• Must work in all weather conditions, be prepared for both extreme heat/cold
• Must be able to work independently and maintain a schedule of work
• Exceptional attendance record
• Must be available to work Overtime
• Ability to stand, squat, stoop, bend, lift for extended periods of time
• Must pass post offer drug screen and E-verify all candidates

Desired qualifications:

• 1+ Years related experience - Construction experience – Pipeline, water treatment, RCP storm drain.
• OSHA safety training and a current First Aid and CPR certificate
