Shea Concrete Products, Inc. is hiring for a year-round manual labor position at our precast plant in New Bedford/Rochester, MA. You will work with concrete foundations, flatwork, forms, and rebar in a safety-focused, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work year-round indoors at a precast plant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare precast forms for manufacturing concrete products.
• Prepare molds for stripping and set up molds for production.
• Place and secure reinforcement in precast concrete forms.
• Layout and secure embeds, knockouts, etc.
• Place and finish concrete into various precast forms.
• Carpentry tasks as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Do you have experience with Concrete foundations, flatwork, building forms or tying rebar? Consider working year round indoors at a Precast Concrete plant located in Rochester, MA with Shea Concrete.

$22-$30/hr based on qualified experience.

Precast concrete plant team members are responsible for performing a variety of tasks and duties in a safe and productive manner to produce precast concrete products in accordance with quality standards.

• Prepares precast forms for manufacturing concrete products.
• Prepares molds for stripping by opening or removing forms from hardened concrete.
• Clean, prepare and set up molds for use as required in production.
• Place and secure reinforcement in various precast concrete forms.
• Layout and secure embeds, knockouts, etc.
• Place and finish concrete into various precast forms.
• Carpentry skills of all levels

Other Duties

• Housekeeping – maintain a clean work area.
• Expected to maintain knowledge of precast plant techniques and procedures.
• Delegate tasks as deemed necessary.
• Understanding of hand tools, mechanical skills are a plus.
