Job summary

Ferrovial Construction’s Webber division in the United States seeks a Foreman to supervise formwork for concrete structures. You will read plans, guide crew, and ensure proper alignment and rough-in work on outdoor construction sites.

The position involves heavy physical activity, outdoor conditions, and direct supervision of crew with a focus on safety and efficiency. Minimum 0-3 years of related construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Less than High School Diploma.
• Experience: Minimum 0-3 years of related construction experience preferred.
• Language: Ability to read simple words and sentences.

Responsibilities

• Works from plans to build, assemble, fit together, align, plumb, and set in place forms for molding concrete structures.
• Directs others in stripping forms after concrete is placed.
• May install miscellaneous materials integral to concrete structures.
• May install precast concrete elements.
• Prepares for slipforming traffic rail and median barrier.
• May install permanent metal deck forms.
• May work with power tools.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
