Job summary

CSG/Ceco Concrete Construction in San Antonio, TX seeks a skilled Carpenter to build and dismantle formwork for concrete structures. You will read drawings, measure accurately, and support vertical installations and framing tasks on active jobsites.

The role requires physical endurance, use of hand tools, and adherence to safety standards; experience with formwork and OSHA 30 is preferred, with solid teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
• Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing.
• Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
• Preference for 12 months of formwork / concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter.
• Preference for 30 Hour OSHA Card.

Responsibilities

• Build, erect, and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, columns, slabs and other structures.
• Perform general construction labor including jobsite clean-up and material handling.
• Operate motorized equipment and power tools as required.
• Read a tape measure and ensure accuracy to specifications.
• Assist in vertical concrete pours and related framing tasks.
• Work in varied weather conditions and maintain safety standards on site.
