Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking a Supervisor to oversee Concrete Finishers and ensure the correct dry finish on concrete members. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and production efficiency at our southeastern U.S. locations.

Responsibilities include reviewing shop cards with the Manager, assigning finishers, directing dry finish applications, and performing rework as needed to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Concrete Finishers for applying dry finish to concrete members.
• Ensures concrete members receive the correct dry finish and are green tagged prior to storage.
• Review shop cards with Manager.
• Assign one or more Concrete Finishers – Class B for each concrete product.
• Instruct each Concrete Finisher on the required dry finish for each product.
• Instruct each Concrete Finisher about special requirements for dry finish.
• Saw off strand ends, sack concrete member, rock edges of panels, etc.
• Perform any dry finish as required to meet production schedules.
• Apply rework to concrete products as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Summary of Primary Functions:

Supervises Specialty Finishers and Concrete Finishers in applying dry finish to concrete members. Ensures that concrete members receive the correct dry finish and that members are green tagged prior to storage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

• Review shop cards with Manager.


• Verify dry finish for each bed form.


• Assign one or more Concrete Finishers – Class B for each concrete product.


• Instruct each Concrete Finisher as to which dry finish is required for each concrete product.


• Instruct each Concrete Finisher about special requirements for dry finish.


• Saw off strand ends, sack concrete member, rock edges of panels, etc. as needed.


• Perform any dry finish as required to meet production schedules.


• Apply rework to concrete products as needed.


• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Job Specifications Or Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
