Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a Concrete Finisher for Louisiana sites to deliver high-quality surface finishes on concrete and other materials. You will work with hand and power tools to shape, smooth, and seal concrete surfaces.

The role requires reading blueprints, following specifications, and ensuring accurate finishes while maintaining safety and collaborating with the crew to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
• Experience as a Finisher or Concrete Finisher in heavy civil construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Apply curing compounds and protective sealers to finished concrete.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate finishes and grades.
• Cut, shape, and smooth concrete using finishing tools.
• Monitor concrete for curing and address imperfections.
• Assist with setup and dismantling of forms and equipment.
• Operate small construction equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with crew to meet deadlines.
• Perform general labor duties on various sites.
