Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Concrete Finishers/Laborers for immediate placement in Milwaukee, WI. This contract-to-hire role supports commercial concrete projects, focusing on flatwork for new construction such as apartment buildings and hotels.

You will assist a lead worker with forms, placement, and finishing tasks outdoors on active construction sites, with regular lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of concrete experience, preferably in commercial/flatwork projects.
• Hands-on experience with concrete labor, including assisting with pours and handling forms.
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as hammers, trowels, and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead worker with daily concrete operations on commercial construction projects.
• Transport and position concrete forms as directed to prepare areas for flatwork pours.
• Wheelbarrow concrete from the delivery point to designated pour locations safely and efficiently.
• Help pour, spread, and support finishing activities for concrete flatwork on new construction projects.
• Tear down and remove concrete forms after curing, ensuring materials are organized for reuse.
• Use hand tools such as hammers, trowels, and measuring tools to support concrete placement and finishing.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris and organizing tools and materials.
• Follow instructions from the lead worker and adhere to site safety guidelines and procedures.
• Lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
