Job summary

Brice Highway LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Concrete Finisher to responsibly finish concrete surfaces on transportation and utility projects. You will prep sites, pour, level, and finish surfaces using trowels, floats, and related equipment.

The role requires basic understanding of concrete finishes, reading plans, safety compliance, and the ability to work outdoors with a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years’ experience in construction field required.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the area before pouring concrete, such as setting up forms and installing rebar.
• Pour and spread the concrete evenly.
• Use trowels, screeds, and floats to smooth and level the surface.
• Apply sealants or other coatings to protect concrete and enhance appearance.
• Repair and patch damaged or uneven surfaces.
• Operate equipment like concrete saws or grinders.
• Monitor weather effects on curing process.
• Adhere to safety requirements and participate in safety meetings.
