Job summary

Bruns General Contracting is seeking a concrete finisher/foreman to lead our on-site crew in residential and commercial projects. You will manage day-to-day operations, grade and finish concrete, operate equipment, and organize concrete associates.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on leadership, be able to set wall forms for basements and large foundations, and show initiative to advance with a growing company. Bruns is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• 2 years concrete finisher experience
• 2 years supervisory experience
• Hands-on, self-motivated leadership preferred

Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a concrete finisher. The applicant will be working in residential and commercial settings. The concrete finisher / foreman will be responsible for the day to day operations of his assigned concrete crew, and will be running grade, finishing concrete, running equipment and organizing concrete associates. The job will progress as the applicant gains experience in the field. Ideal candidate will be able and willing to set wall forms for basements and large foundation projects. Must be a hands-on, self-motivated leader.

Preferred Skills

• Skilled at forming curb, driveways, sidewalks
• Quality interior and exterior concrete finishing applications
• Operate power trowel properly (understand patterns)
• Use saw to cut expansion joints
• Work in a team environment
• Ability to screed, bull/hand float and rebar tying

Experience/Requirements

• 2 years concrete finisher experience
• 2 years supervisory experience
