LEMOINE is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join our growing team on active construction projects in Louisiana. This role involves placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete under supervision of the Project Superintendent or Foreman.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hand and power tool skills, basic math for mixing compounds, and a solid work ethic. Advancement to Foreman is possible for proven performers who demonstrate leadership and reliability.

Responsibilities

Summary:

A Concrete Finisher is an advanced-level position responsible for performing a variety of tasks including placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete. Concrete Finishers supervise helpers and are considered experts in all phases of concrete finishing. Those who demonstrate exceptional skill and leadership may be considered for promotion to Foreman.

General Duties:

• Perform clean-up duties and preparation tasks on construction sites.

• Place and vibrate concrete to ensure proper compaction and finish.

• Chip concrete for the purpose of rubbing and patching.

• Complete any other duties as assigned by the Project Superintendent, Field Engineer, or Foreman.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb, kneel, balance, crouch, crawl, and reach.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or a 92-pound cement bag with assistance.

• Requires good vision, physical stamina, and the ability to estimate size and dimensions accurately.
