Job summary

Wood is seeking Concrete Finishers for a 2-month project in Ingleside, TX. Schedule is 13/1 with 12-hour days; per diem paid. TWIC card required. Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship is needed.

Responsibilities include interpreting orders, safely using power tools, handling piping materials, and finishing concrete with proper formwork and scaffolding techniques. Site safety and proper signaling are essential for the role.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of safe use of power and hand tools.
• Ability to interpret piping materials and perform concrete finishing.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely.
• Handle materials for piping systems using proper techniques.
• Select and use equipment such as manlifts, forklifts, and company trucks.
• Demonstrate safe rigging practices and crane signaling.
• Construct and brace concrete forms using various systems.
• Cut, bend, install and tie rebar; anchor bolts.
• Pour and finish concrete; ensure scaffold integrity.

Wood is currently sourcing for Concrete Finishers to join our team in Ingleside, TX for a 2-month project. Schedule is 13/1 with 12 hour days. Per diem will be paid. TWIC card is required. Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret and apply information from work orders, job orders, specifications, blueprints, ISO’s or other drawings and recognize basic blueprint terms and symbols for job application
• Identify, recognize and demonstrate safe usage of power tools and hand tools appropriate for the job
• Recognize various materials used in piping systems and demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate material handling techniques
• Select and safely use appropriate equipment which may include (but not limited to) manlifts, forklifts, and company trucks
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills in safe rigging practices
• Identify, explain and perform crane hand signals
• Demonstrate ability to properly build and brace concrete forms using various systems.
• Demonstrates ability to cut, bend, install and tie rebar
• Demonstrate ability to anchor bolts
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in pouring and finishing concrete
• Demonstrate knowledge and ability to recognize a correctly built scaffold
