Job summary

Stuart Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher for projects in Elkridge, MD, with potential travel to future sites. This full-time role offers year-round work, overtime opportunities, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

You will perform concrete placement, finishing, form work, and inspection to ensure quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of concrete finishing experience.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting 50+ pounds).

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete placement and finishing for sidewalks, curbs, slabs, and pads.
• Prepare, install, and remove concrete forms.
• Screed, float, trowel, edge, and finish concrete to project specifications.
• Operate hand tools and power finishing equipment safely.
• Apply curing materials, sealers, and other concrete treatments as required.
• Read grade stakes and assist with basic field layout.
• Inspect finished work and ensure company quality standards are met.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area; coordinate with foremen and crew.

Stuart Contractors, LLC is a growing civil site construction company performing projects throughout Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. We are currently hiring an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our field team.

We are looking for someone who understands concrete work, takes pride in producing a quality finished product, and works well as part of a crew. This is a full-time opportunity offering consistent year-round work, overtime opportunities, benefits, and room to grow within the company.

Our current need is for projects located in Elkridge, Maryland. Once work in this area is completed, some travel to future project locations may be required.

What You\'ll Do:

• Perform concrete placement and finishing for sidewalks, curbs, slabs, pads, and other site concrete
• Prepare, install, and remove concrete forms

What We Are Looking For:

• Reliable transportation to assigned job locations
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a construction crew
