Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking skilled concrete finishers for work on highways and bridges in Florida. The role requires the ability to stand for long hours, climb ladders, and lift heavy loads while pouring, finishing, and patching concrete surfaces.

Responsibilities include spreading and leveling concrete, using floats, trowels, vibrators, and power screeds; finishing walls and joints; and ensuring safety and quality on site. Experience with epoxy patches is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience working on heavy highways and bridges.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds and stair towers.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 60 pounds.
• Capable of operating concrete vibrators for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete decks and slabs using hand tools or power tools.
• Spread concrete to specified depth and consistency.
• Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete.
• Finish concrete surfaces using a power trowel.
• Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy.
• Mold expansion joints and edges.
• Mix concrete using a mixing machine.
• Finish walls, patch and repair as needed.

Job description

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured bridge decking or other concrete slabs using hand tools or power tools including floats,trowelsand screeds
• Spread concrete to specified depth and consistency
• Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straight edge,float or power screed
• Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel
• Rub concrete with abrasive stone to finish
• Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, using power grinder,chiselor hammer
• Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound material
• Mold expansion joints and edges
• Mix concrete using a mixing machine
• Break up and repair old concrete surfaces
• Finish walls,pointand patch

Job Requirements

• Three (3) to five (5)years experienceworking on heavy highways, and/or bridges
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day
• Must be able to climb ladders,scaffoldsand stair towers
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 60 pounds
• Capable of operating concrete vibrators for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to pour, grade and finish concrete
