Job summary

Builders Supply, A CRH Company, seeks a Dispatcher to coordinate phone sales and distribution of concrete products for multiple plants in Louisiana. You will staff personnel based on customer orders and communicate daily with customers and drivers, ensuring timely deliveries and a safe work environment.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, and prior dispatch experience in concrete/transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or high school education required.
• Experience in concrete/transport dispatch preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with customers and drivers.
• Able to learn dispatch software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate phone sales and distribution of concrete products.
• Staff personnel based on customer orders.
• Communicate with employees and customers daily.
• Ensure a safe work environment per OSHA/MSHA.
• Follow company policies and PPE requirements.
• Assist lost drivers in finding jobsites and determine travel times.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Work overtime, nights and weekends as necessary.
