Job summary

Cogent Analytics is assisting a Raleigh–Durham area contractor in finding a hardworking Construction Operator to perform concrete sawing, drilling, cutting, and selective demolition. The role requires safely operating a range of diamond and demolition tools, transporting and maintaining equipment, and documenting field work.

Ideal candidates have a CDL Class A, at least one year of relevant experience, and the ability to work outdoors in changing weather.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in concrete sawing, core drilling, or demolition.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate/maintain equipment.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs+ and work in variable weather conditions.
• Safety-oriented, dependable, and team-focused.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety standards, PPE, and OSHA regulations on all job sites.
• Operate concrete sawing, drilling, and demolition tools safely and proficiently.
• Transport and maintain equipment between yard and job sites.
• Complete field tickets and document job progress in CenPoint.
• Communicate job status and issues promptly to dispatch and management.
• Assist with client interactions and ensure work meets quality standards.
