Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction in Salt Lake City is seeking concrete carpenters to build forms for piers, footers, walls and bridges. This role demands precision, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

You will read blueprints, cut and assemble wooden or metal forms, pour and finish concrete, and work under supervision while contributing to major infrastructure projects. We offer competitive pay, PTO, holiday pay, health insurance, a 401K with company contributions up to 5%,

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in rough, concrete, or bridge carpentry and pouring concrete or equivalent education/experience.
• Transportation to work
• Work Safely
• Be able to carry 70 lbs.
• Willing to do laborer work
• Flexible availability to include overtime and possible weekends.

Responsibilities

• Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden and/or metal forms for molding concrete structures.
• Saw lumber per blueprint dimensions and assemble form panels.
• Perform work with some supervision
• Pour and screed concrete to grade and straight edged
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assemblies
• Tie rods and anchor forms to maintain dimensions
• Build rough wooden structures like scaffolds and safety railings
• Assist cement finishers as needed
