Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing (Drug-Free Workplace).

Responsibilities

• Formwork Mastery: Build, assemble, and install forms for foundations, walls, columns, and slabs; ensure alignment and security.
• Reinforcement: Measure, cut, and position rebar or wire mesh per blueprints.
• Precision Pouring: Assist in pouring concrete into forms with proper placement and compaction.
• Finishing: Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete, including edges and joints.
• Plan Interpretation: Read blueprints and plans to mark layouts with precision.
• Safety & Teamwork: Follow safety protocols and communicate with crew to meet project goals.

Position Responsibilities

• Formwork Mastery: Build, assemble, and install wooden or metal forms for foundations, walls, columns, and slabs; ensure forms are level, aligned, and secure.
• Reinforcement: Measure, cut, and position rebar or wire mesh according to blueprints and specifications.
• Precision Pouring: Assist in pouring concrete into forms, ensuring proper placement, compaction, and structural integrity.
• Finishing: Smooth and level freshly poured concrete using hand and power tools; perform edge finishing, jointing, and curing processes.
• Plan Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to mark and measure layouts with precision.
• Safety & Teamwork: Adhere to all safety protocols (PPE) and communicate effectively with the crew to meet project goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a Concrete Carpenter or a similar role in heavy civil construction.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with carpentry tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment; strong understanding of formwork systems.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive tasks (bending, stooping, standing) for long periods.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or travel out-of-town based on project schedules.
• Compliance: Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing (Drug-Free Workplace).
