Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a VIP Lounge Concierge to deliver personalized service, welcome VIP guests, and create unforgettable experiences at the resort.

Responsibilities include offering recommendations, managing reservations, and maintaining up-to-date resort information while collaborating with teams to ensure guest satisfaction. A high school diploma or equivalent and driving license are required, along with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or at least one year of progressive experience in hotel/customer service.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized service to all guests, including VIP welcomes and assistance throughout their stay.
• Provide recommendations, information, directions, and reservations for resort amenities, dining, entertainment, and local attractions.
• Maintain up-to-date resort information, daily event details, lobby reader boards, brochures, maps, and local attraction guides.
• Communicate effectively with fellow associates and resort departments, stay informed on resort activities, and understand emergency procedures to ensure a safe, seamless guest experience.

You’ll be the go-to person for our VIP guests, delivering personalized service, anticipating needs before they’re even spoken, and adding those extra-special touches that turn a great stay into an extraordinary one. From warm welcomes to seamless service, you’ll help create an exclusive experience where every detail matters and every guest feels like a star.

Pay Rate - $16 - $18/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized service to all guests, including VIP welcomes and assistance throughout their stay.
• Provide recommendations, information, directions, and reservations for resort amenities, dining, entertainment, local attractions, transportation, and area services, prioritizing in-house offerings when appropriate.
• Maintain up-to-date resort information, daily event details, lobby reader boards, brochures, maps, and local attraction guides.
• Communicate effectively with fellow associates and resort departments, stay informed on resort activities, and understand emergency procedures to ensure a safe, seamless guest experience.

WhatWe’reLooking For

• We do require a high school diploma or equivalent and/or at least one year of progressive experience in a hotel, resort, or customer service-related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Computer experience is required.
• Must have extensive knowledge of the area and be able to give directions clearly.
• Must be proficient in Windows software and copy, fax, and telephone equipment.
• A guest service background is preferred.
