Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Chicago, IL to provide customer-focused security services across office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. You will greet visitors, verify identities, and guide people while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid IL PERC
• Must have a valid IL Drivers License
• Must be 21+ years old
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Site Location: Chicago,IL
• Set schedule: There are 4 shifts available
• Shift 1: Full time, Saturday through Tuesday, 2nd shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Shift 2: Full time, Monday through Friday, 2nd shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Shift 3: Part time, Saturday and Sunday, 1st shift, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday, 2nd shift, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Shift 4: Part time, Saturday and Sunday, 1st shift, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday and Friday, 2nd shift, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $22.60 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
