Job summary

Qualifications

  • Clean U5 and current Series 7 and 63, or ability to acquire within 120 days.
  • CFP® certification preferred, or progress in education requirements; passing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation will be required for future promotion.
  • Experience in financial planning, banking, wealth management, or related financial services roles.
  • Ability to build and explain long-term financial plans that reflect goals, tax considerations, and estate planning needs.
  • Experience supporting high-value and complex client relationships with clear, responsive service.
  • Commitment to acting in the customer’s best interest while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to a wide range of customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and drive innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through structured financial planning processes by reviewing and organizing financial data, defining goals, and explaining plan outputs clearly and effectively.
  • Support customers across the Concierge services, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide education on financial planning topics while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Conduct ongoing plan reviews, identify opportunities to improve customer understanding, and connect customers with appropriate specialists as needed.
  • Help increase customer engagement with Robinhood products by supporting asset consolidation and broader product usage.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to firm and regulatory standards across interactions.
  • Bring a human touch and empathy to client engagements.

About the team + role

The Concierge team is expanding its capabilities to support customers with financial planning, advice, education, and long-term financial organization. This team works closely with Robinhood Asset Management. product, and compliance to deliver accurate, compliant planning experiences. You’ll play a key role in shaping how Robinhood supports customers in organizing their financial lives and understanding their options!

As an individual contributor in a Relationship Manager role, you will support customers throughout their service journey while guiding them through structured financial planning processes. You will support the full Concierge suite of services, including financial planning, tax services, estate planning, and account-related support, helping customers navigate each area through structured guidance and coordination with internal teams and external partners. You will lead conversations to understand customer goals, help organize financial information, and interpret planning outputs in a clear and accessible way. Our clients are largely self-managed or participate in Robinhood Strategies, so this role can focus on the bigger picture while providing ongoing advice and guidance. You will also coordinate across teams and service providers to ensure each interaction is timely, accurate, and aligned with regulatory standards. Your work will strengthen customer engagement, clarity, and confidence in financial decision-making.

This role is based in our Chicago, IL, Lake Mary, FL, Westlake, TX, Denver, CO, New York, NY, and Menlo Park, CA office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct ongoing plan reviews, identify opportunities to improve customer understanding, and connect customers with appropriate specialists when needed
  • Help increase customer engagement with Robinhood products by supporting asset consolidation, encouraging broader product usage, and delivering a consistent, high-quality service experience
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow firm and regulatory standards across all customer interactions
  • Bring a human touch and empathy to the experience of clients engaging with our offering.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
