Job summary

The Ivy at Wellington, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Concierge to warmly greet visitors, fulfill resident requests, arrange tours, answer multiple telephone lines, and support administrative staff. This role emphasizes outstanding service aligned with our mission and values.

Responsibilities include handling calls, coordinating mail, maintaining safety, and fostering teamwork across departments to ensure an exceptional resident experience at our California communities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of hospitality or senior living experience.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Pass criminal background and health screenings, including TB tests.
• Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, direct calls, and route inquiries professionally.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond to each call.
• Manage business center and process mail and deliveries.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.

The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
