Job summary

Provision Living in Ohio is seeking a friendly Concierge to be the first point of contact for visitors and residents, handling phone calls and greeting guests while supporting the team to enhance wellbeing and experience.

You will coordinate requests, assist with scheduling, maintain files, and help deliver items and services to residents, while upholding safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong English communication with residents and visitors.
  • Basic computer and MS Office proficiency.
  • Experience with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming telephone calls.
  • Greet visitors entering the community.
  • Assist in the maintenance of files.
  • Schedule transportation and salon appointments for residents.
  • Prepare maintenance work orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Address residents' requests and manage item deliveries and billing.
  • Maintain greeting cards and stamps; ensure correct accounting.
  • Coordinate valet services for residents as needed.
  • Monitor security cameras as first responder to Emergency Response System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Concierge


Reports to: Executive Director


FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Position Summary

As a Concierge , you will serve as a courteous and professional first point of contact for visitors and those calling the community while supporting the team in optimizing each resident’s well-being and overall experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following


  • Answer incoming telephone calls

  • Greet visitors as they enter the community

  • Assist in the maintenance of files

  • Schedule car and bus for resident use

  • Schedule salon appointments

  • Prepare maintenance work orders and ensure prompt delivery

  • Answer residents’ requests for sundry items and ensure prompt delivery and accurate accounting of items purchased by residents

  • Maintain supply of greeting cards and stamps for resident use. Ensure accurate accounting of all items purchased by residents

  • Locate staff to perform valet service for residents as needed

  • Monitor security cameras as first-responder to resident’s Emergency Response System

  • Perform other tasks as assigned


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.


Requirements

Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)


Skills/Experience


  • Ability to clearly communicate with residents, employees, resident families and visitors in English.

  • Ability to effectively response to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers and the general public.

  • Ability to identify problems and use problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Must possess general computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office Applications in order to set up, product and update forms.

  • Must possess a general appreciation of seniors and an understanding of the aging process, as well as be aware of its challenges.

  • Professional appearance at all times, must be friendly and interact well with other individuals.

Travel is not required.
