Job summary

Sollis Health is seeking a Physician for per diem weekend shifts to provide concierge emergency medical care to our patients in our New York clinics. You will handle urgent and emergent cases for adults and children, collaborating with PAs, nurses, and technicians in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include performing evaluations, procedures, Covid-related testing, and documenting care in Athena Health, while coordinating with medical leadership to maintain high-quality,

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University is required.
• New York state license to practice is required.
• Emergency Medicine residency completion and board certification mandatory.
• Minimum 2+ years physician experience in ED or urgent care after residency.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care within emergency medicine.
• Perform medical procedures including obtaining IV access, phlebotomy, IV medications/fluids, and EKGs.
• Lead medical management by collaborating with PAs, nurses, and technicians.
• Assess and treat Covid-related cases, including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document evaluations and treatments in Athena Health EHR.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and clinical team to ensure policy adherence and high-quality care.
• Coordinate care with After Care, house calls, or Medical Partners as needed.
• Provide empathetic communication to patients and families.
• Contribute to operational projects as required.
• Perform related duties as requested.
