Job summary

Westminster Towers in Orlando, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care in a senior residential setting. The role includes assisting with Activities of Daily Living, monitoring residents, and reporting changes to nursing staff.

You will maintain hygiene, support meal service, take vital signs, and follow infection-control guidelines while documenting care in the CNA ECS flow-sheet and performing routine safety rounds to protect residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with Florida laws.
• One year of long term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs.
• Ensure beds are made; trash removed, and high level of hygiene maintained in the room.
• Assist residents with meals and feeding, if necessary.
• Take vital signs and report observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
• Practice infection prevention and control measures per federal, state and facility requirements.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet promptly and accurately.
• Make routine rounds to ensure safety precautions/equipment are in place and working.
• Prevent skin problems by timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning.

Description
