Job summary

Ivy Living’s Ivy Park at San Ramon is seeking a friendly Concierge to greet visitors, handle resident requests, and support the administrative team. The role requires strong customer service, communication, and basic MS Office skills, with a focus on maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

You will answer phones, direct inquiries, and assist residents and families while upholding our mission and values. Prior hospitality experience is preferred, and background checks and health screenings are

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of experience in a hospitality setting or senior living community.
• Proficient with MS Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Able to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Must pass criminal background check and health screenings (including TB tests).
• Vaccine/ PPE requirements may be applicable per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond promptly to alerts.

The Concierge

is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
